ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,678,421, issued on July 14, was assigned to KYUSHU UNIVERSITY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY Corp. (Fukuoka, Japan) and DAICEL Corp. (Osaka, Japan).
