US Patent Issued to KYOCERA on Oct. 20 for "Multilayer ceramic electronic component" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,770,788, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to KYOCERA Corp. (Kyoto, Japan).

"Multilayer ceramic electronic component" was invented by Nobuyoshi Fujikawa (Kirishima, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multilayer ceramic electronic component includes a stack including dielectric layers and internal electrode layers alternately stacked on one another. The dielectric layers include 1.1x1014 to 6.1x1014 oxygen vacancies/mm3 inclusive."
