US Patent Issued to KSB on June 23 for "Hybrid manufacture of an impeller" (German Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,663,018, issued on June 23, was assigned to KSB SE & Co. KGaA (Frankenthal, Germany).

"Hybrid manufacture of an impeller" was invented by Tammuz Nobel (Frankenthal, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A centrifugal pump includes at least one impeller. Downstream of the impeller there is arranged a guide device. The guide device is a hybrid component that includes at least one conventionally manufactured constituent and at least one generatively manufactured constituent."
