"Emissive LED display with high and low blue modes" was invented by Monica Hansen (Los Angeles).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A display comprising: (a) a plurality of pixels, each of said plurality of pixels comprising three sub pixels with each subpixel comprising an LED, wherein at least one LED of said three subpixels of each pixel comprises a dual wavelength LED; and (b) at least one driver for driving LEDs of said three subpixels, said at least one driver having three contacts for said at least one LED of each pixel."
