US Patent Issued to Kohler (China) Investment on June 2 for "Massage chair for bathing" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,642,395, issued on June 2, was assigned to Kohler (China) Investment Co. Ltd (Shanghai).

"Massage chair for bathing" was invented by Hua Zhang (Shanghai), Feixiang Chen (Shanghai), Yanchao Shen (Shanghai), Xinyao Liu (Shanghai) and Jianqing Zhang (Shanghai).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A massage chair for bathing includes a chair seat, a seat back, and a massage device. The massage device is positioned on at least one of the chair seat and the seat back, where the seat back and the chair seat are connected using a locking unit."

The patent was filed on Sept. 14, 2023, under Application No. 18/467,265.
