ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,727,934, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to KOGENT SURGICAL LLC (Chesterfield, Mo.).

"Bipolar forceps" was invented by Gregg D. Scheller (Wildwood, Mo.) and Clayton Chatman (Chesterfield, Mo.).
