US Patent Issued to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals on June 30 for "Method of concurrent oil extraction and carbon dioxide mineralization" (Saudi Arabia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,736, issued on June 30, was assigned to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).

"Method of concurrent oil extraction and carbon dioxide mineralization" was invented by Ahmed Zarzor Hussien Yaseri (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia), Ibrahim Yahia Yaagoob Mohamed (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia) and Noof Saleh Aqeel Al-Aqeel (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).
