ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,678,769, issued on July 14, was assigned to KING FAHD UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND MINERALS (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).

"Azo-linked organic polymers for carbon dioxide capture and metal ion removal" was invented by Mahmoud Mohamed Abdelnaby (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia) and Tawfik Abdo Saleh (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).
