US Patent Issued to KAWASAKI MOTORS on July 14 for "Off-road vehicle" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,679,468, issued on July 14, was assigned to KAWASAKI MOTORS LTD. (Hyogo, Japan).

"Off-road vehicle" was invented by Hiromasa Kurioka (Akashi, Japan) and Hidenori Kikuchi (Akashi, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The utility vehicle 100 includes a front roof 11 and a rear roof 12 located in rear of the front roof 11. A rear end portion 13 of the front roof 11 overlaps with a front end portion 14 of the rear roof 12 in an upper-lower direction, and is positioned higher than the front end portion 14."

The patent was filed on Sept. 14, 2023, under Application No. 18/467,243.
