ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,172, issued on June 30, was assigned to Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc. (Jacksonville, Fla.).

"Contact lens packages having lens lifting arms and methods of handling" was invented by Sam Jonathan Popwell (Jacksonville, Fla.), Daniel Graham Ward (Cambridge, Great Britain), Stephen Sams (Cambridge, Great Britain) and William Stephen Honey (Bath, Great Britain).
