ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,642,811, issued on June 2, was assigned to Jazz Pharmaceuticals Ireland Ltd. (Dublin).

"Treatment of hematological disorders" was invented by Stefan Faderl (Reno, Nev.), Ronald Cheung (Redwood City, Calif.) and Qi Wang (Pennington, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to compositions and methods for treating patients with hematological proliferative disorders with CPX-351, a liposomal composition of daunorubicin and cytarabine, and venetoclax."

The patent was filed on April 10, 2024, under Application No. 18/632,083.
