US Patent Issued to Jahpoo Outdoors on March 31 for "Feeding motion duck decoy" (Texas Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,588,673, issued on March 31, was assigned to Jahpoo Outdoors Ltd. (Austin, Texas).

"Feeding motion duck decoy" was invented by Carson Ross Tharp (Austin, Texas), Joseph William Conrad (Houston) and Jordan Franklin Reynolds (Houston).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A motion duck decoy, in which a duck decoy comprises a weight and a power source enclosed within the duck decoy, whereby powered motion of the weight within the duck decoy causes the duck decoy to mimic the feeding motion of a duck. The decoy may include a Scotch yoke mechanism."

The patent was filed on Jan. 31, 2024, under Application No. 18/429,409.
