US Patent Issued to JADE BIRD DISPLAY (SHANGHAI) on April 14 for "Micro LED projector" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,603,975, issued on April 14, was assigned to JADE BIRD DISPLAY (SHANGHAI) Ltd. (Shanghai).

"Micro LED projector" was invented by Shuai Zhang (Shanghai), Huiwen Xu (Shanghai) and Jian Guo (Shanghai).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein is a micro LED projector comprising: a micro LED panel and a collimator unit. The micro LED structure in the micro LED panel comprises a mesa structure and a micro lens formed above the micro mesa structure, a p type semiconductor layer, an n type semiconductor layer and a light emitting layer formed between the p type semiconductor layer and the n type semiconductor layer.
