ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,586,367, issued on March 24, was assigned to IonQ Inc. (College Park, Md.), Hyundai Motor Co. (Seoul, South Korea) and Kia Corp. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Quantum convolutional neural network circuit" was invented by Jason John Iaconis (Boulder, Colo.), Sang Hyub Kim (La Canada Flintridge, Calif.), Soon Cheol Park (Suwon-si, South Korea), Hanlae Jo (Seoul, South Korea) and Sangtae Kim (Yongin-si, South Korea).
