ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,684,824, issued on July 14, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Integrated circuits with self-aligned tub architecture" was invented by Dan S. Lavric (Beaverton, Ore.), YenTing Chiu (Portland, Ore.), Mohit K. Haran (Hillsboro, Ore.), Allen B. According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to advanced integrated circuit structure fabrication and, in particular, to integrated circuits with self-aligned tub architectures. Other embodiments may be described or claimed."
