ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,603,707, issued on April 14, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Micro-photonics parallel data transmission fabric and interconnect" was invented by Joshua B. Fryman (Corvallis, Ore.), Khaled Ahmed (San Jose, Calif.), Sergey Shumarayev (Los Altos Hills, Calif.), Thomas Liljeberg (San Jose, Calif.), Divya Pratap (Hillsboro, Ore.) and James E. Jaussi (Hillsboro, Ore.).
