ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,553, issued on June 30, was assigned to Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (Dammam, Saudi Arabia).

"Manganese zinc spinel ferrite (Mn 0.5 Zn 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 ) nanoparticles for the growth promotion of plants" was invented by Guzin Tombuloglu (Dammam, Saudi Arabia), Huseyin Tombuloglu (Dammam, Saudi Arabia), Yassine Slimani (Dammam, Saudi Arabia), Munirah Almessiere (Dammam, Saudi Arabia) and Abdulhadi Baykal (Dammam, Saudi Arabia).
