US Patent Issued to IGT on July 14 for "Multi-feature accumulation" (Nevada Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,682,724, issued on July 14, was assigned to IGT (Las Vegas).

"Multi-feature accumulation" was invented by Brandon Woudhuysen (Sparks, Nev.) and Eric Loat (Carson City, Nev.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Gaming systems and methods that provide a multi-feature accumulation that enables the accumulation of different triggers for different types of features including the accumulation of award amount triggers, the accumulation of free activation triggers, and the accumulation of free activation quantities."

The patent was filed on Nov. 17, 2023, under Application No. 18/512,608.
