ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,555,439, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to IGT (Las Vegas, Ill.).
"Virtual chip purchase vouchers" was invented by Fei Yi (Beijing), Wei Gong (Beijing) and Eduardo Meza (Henderson, Nev.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods that employ a virtual chip purchase voucher to transfer an amount funds between one or more gaming establishment accounts associated with a user and one or more gaming table components associated with a gaming establishment gaming table."
The patent was filed on Nov. 4, 2024, under Application No. 18/936,619.
