ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,651,751, issued on June 9, was assigned to Hyundai Motor Co. (Seoul, South Korea) and Kia Corp. (Seoul, South Korea).
"Method for manufacturing electrode for all-solid-state batteries by semi-dry process" was invented by Kyung Yup Song (Yongin-si, South Korea) and Jong Hwan Choi (Hwaseong-si, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for manufacturing an electrode for all-solid-state batteries uses a wet binder and a dry binder."
The patent was filed on Dec. 5, 2022, under Application No. 18/074,956.
