ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,638,068, issued on May 26, was assigned to HYDAC SYSTEMS & SERVICES GMBH (Sulzbach/Saar, Germany).

"Electromechanical cylinder" was invented by Michael Scheidt (Riegelsberg, Germany) and Felix Anton Schwarz (Saarbrucken, Germany).
