US Patent Issued to Hughes Network Systems on Sept. 8 for "Q-band block down converter" (Maryland Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,732,219, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to Hughes Network Systems LLC (Germantown, Md.).

"Q-band block down converter" was invented by Kumud Patel (Clarksburg, Md.), Minheng Shan (Rockville, Md.) and Guojun Chen (Damascus, Md.).
