US Patent Issued to Hue on June 23 for "Micro LED, micro LED panel and micro LED chip" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,666,779, issued on June 23, was assigned to Hue Inc. (Shanghai).

"Micro LED, micro LED panel and micro LED chip" was invented by Jian Guo (Shanghai), Qiming Li (Shanghai) and Huiwen Xu (Shanghai).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A micro LED includes a first type semiconductor layer; a light emitting layer formed on the first type semiconductor layer; a second type semiconductor layer formed on the light emitting layer; wherein, at least one part of a sidewall of the second type semiconductor layer is not aligned with a sidewall of the first type semiconductor layer."

The patent was filed on March 2, 2023, under Application No. 18/116,405....
