ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,693,647, issued on July 28, was assigned to Howe Neat Inc. (Redding, Calif.).

"Automated status indicating monitoring and control node" was invented by Daniel Howe (Benicia, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An automated monitoring status indicating node includes a body, a status indicator assembly, a memory and processor operable to activate the status indicator based on the status of a device being monitored. Related methods are disclosed."
