ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,597,337, issued on April 7, was assigned to Honeywell International Inc. (Charlotte, N.C.).

"Event sensing device" was invented by Kamal Raja Ganesan (Chennai, India), Barath Murugavel (Bangalore, India), Benjamin H. Wolf (Leicester, Great Britain), Michael Barson (Nuneaton, Great Britain) and Sameer Tripathi (Bengaluru, India).
