US Patent Issued to Honda Motor on March 24 for "Construction of a vehicle floor garnish" (American, Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,583,530, issued on March 24, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Construction of a vehicle floor garnish" was invented by Carlington George Demetrius (Dublin, Ohio), Yoshiaki Ikeda (Takanezawa-machi, Japan), Yuze Li (Tochigi, Japan), Hiroaki Taniguchi (Royal Oak, Mich.) and Yuichiro Umeda (Novi, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A floor garnish for a vehicle includes a composite sheet, a core on the composite sheet, a board layer on the core, and an upper film on the board layer."
