US Patent Issued to Honda Motor on June 23 for "Fuel cell system" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,665,208, issued on June 23, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Fuel cell system" was invented by Kazuyoshi Miyajima (Wako, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fuel cell system has a fuel cell and a controller. The controller controls an oxygen purge valve and a hydrogen purge valve so that a valve-opening period of the oxygen purge valve provided in an oxygen purge channel and a valve opening period of the hydrogen purge valve provided in a hydrogen purge path do not overlap with each other."

The patent was filed on Sept. 24, 2023, under Application No. 18/372,109.
