"Opto-electronic encoder with a ball lens" was invented by Yves Salvade (St-Imier, Switzerland), Markus Sprecher (Grabserberg, Switzerland), Peter Kipfer (Widnau, Switzerland), Marcel Rohner (Grub, Switzerland), Tim Mayer (Widnau, Switzerland) and Beat Aebischer (Heerbrugg, Switzerland).
