ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,644,028, issued on June 2, was assigned to HENKEL AG & Co. KGaA (Duesseldorf, Germany).
"Aqueous adhesive" was invented by Yoshio Yoshida (Osaka, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed is an aqueous adhesive comprising a copolymer obtainable by polymerizing a plurality of monomers, wherein the plurality of monomers comprise a (meth)acrylic acid ester, and the aqueous adhesive is applied to a paper tube. Also disclosed is a paper tube coated with the aqueous adhesive which is used for paper straws."
