ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,217, issued on April 14, was assigned to Hendrickson USA LLC (Schaumburg, Ill.).

"Heavy-duty vehicle subframe with battery storage structure" was invented by Jeff R. Zawacki (Channahon, Ill.), R. Scott Fulton (Hudson, Ohio) and David M. Morar Jr. (Port Washington, Ohio).
