ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,644,158, issued on June 2, was assigned to HELIXBIND INC. (Marlborough, Mass.).

"Methods and devices for detecting and identifying microorganisms" was invented by Alon Singer (Waltham, Mass.), Ranjit Prakash (Northborough, Mass.), Srinivas Rapireddy (Westborough, Mass.) and Jork Nolling (Hopedale, Mass.).
