US Patent Issued to HANWHA SOLUTIONS on June 30 for "Process for hydrogenation of phthalate compound" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,565, issued on June 30, was assigned to HANWHA SOLUTIONS Corp. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Process for hydrogenation of phthalate compound" was invented by Kitaeg Jung (Daejeon, South Korea), Hyo Suk Kim (Daejeon, South Korea) and Seongmin Park (Daejeon, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is a hydrogenation method of a phthalate-based compound. According to the present invention, after hydrogenation of the phthalate-based compound, a reaction product is stably decompressed to separate and recover unreacted hydrogen, thereby improving stability and economic efficiency of the process."
