ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,605,439, issued on April 21, was assigned to Gylden Pharma Ltd. (Oxfordshire, Great Britain).
"Universal influenza vaccine compositions" was invented by Ramila Philip (Sparks, Nev.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides a vaccine composition comprising an influenza virus peptide comprising a CD8+ T cell epitope and an influenza virus peptide comprising a B cell epitope, wherein each peptide is attached to a nanoparticle."
The patent was filed on Dec. 28, 2021, under Application No. 17/646,227.
