ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,595,806, issued on April 7, was assigned to Greenheck Fan Corp. (Schofield, Wis.).

"Efficient fan assembly" was invented by Thomas Frank (Schofield, Wis.), Vijaya Kumar Kollipara (Weston, Wis.), Shamus William Doran (Kronenwetter, Wis.) and Matthew Keener (Lebanon, N.H.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fan assembly includes an internal housing having an outer internal housing, and an inner internal housing partially disposed within the outer internal housing. The inner internal housing defines an internal cavity, and has a curved exterior surface. Stator blades extend between the inner internal housing and the outer internal housing."
