ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,582,050, issued on March 24, was assigned to Green Automation Group Oy (Helsinki).
"Open-top gutter" was invented by Jukka Huttunen (Unaja, Finland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An open-top gutter for cultivation of plants. In an example, the open-top gutter includes a space limited by two side walls and a bottom wall and divided into trough-like compartments by at least one dividing wall. The dividing wall includes at least one water space formed by a double wall, open at the bottom of the gutter."
The patent was filed on Aug. 27, 2024, under Application No. 18/816,537.
