ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,597,404, issued on April 7, was assigned to GORU LLC (Northville, Mich.).
"Portable gravity-grip musical instrument stand" was invented by John Lucksom (Northville, Mich.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A musical instrument stand includes a base, a first cradle arm assembly rotatingly connected to the base, and a second cradle arm assembly rotatingly connected to the base. Each of the first cradle arm assembly and the second cradle arm assembly is configured to rotate with respect to the base when the musical instrument stand is in an unfolded position."
