ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,673,566, issued on July 7, was assigned to GM Global Technology Operations LLC (Detroit).

"Charging connector" was invented by Samantha Gunter Miller (Berkley, Mich.), Douglas S. Cesiel (Farmington, Mich.) and Aniket P. Kothari (Rochester Hills, Mich.).
