"Waveguide escalators for a photonics chip" was invented by Avijit Chatterjee (Bangalore, India), Yusheng Bian (Ballston Lake, N.Y.), Sujith Chandran (Clifton Park, N.Y.), Aneesh Dash (Bangalore, India), Michal Rakowski (Ballston Lake, N.Y.), Riddhi Nandi (Bangalore, India), Kenneth J. Giewont (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.), Theodore Letavic (Putnam Valley, N.Y.), Mehrdad Djavid (South Burlington, Vt.) and Ravi Prakash Srivastava (Clifton Park, N.Y.).
