ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,561,702, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to GLOBALFOUNDRIES U.S. Inc. (Malta, N.Y.).

"Product custody verification using machine-readable code" was invented by Peter T. Coutu (Williston, Vt.), Romain H.A. Feuillette (Williston, Vt.) and Alain F. Loiseau (Williston, Vt.).
