ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,559,553, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to Gilead Sciences Inc. (Foster City, Calif.).

"IL-31 modulators for treating FXR-induced pruritus" was invented by Andrew Nicholas Billin (San Mateo, Calif.) and Jun Xu (Foster City, Calif.).
