ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,624,655, issued on May 12, was assigned to Generac Power Systems Inc. (Waukesha, Wis.).
"Fuel bypass system for gaseous-fueled engine" was invented by Steven W. Craig (Big Bend, Wis.), Andrew P. Sibrel (Oconomowoc, Wis.), Aaron J. Baska (Greenfield, Wis.) and Douglas R. Clement (Wind Lake, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of operating a forced induction gaseous-fueled engine includes mixing gaseous-fuel and engine intake air to form a mixture at a fuel mixer. The method includes delivering the mixture to an intake manifold by at least partially bypassing a charge air cooler."
