ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,662,529, issued on June 23, was assigned to FYB202 PROJECT GMBH (Berlin).
"Production of biosimilar ustekinumab in CHO cells" was invented by Susanne Pippig (Munich) and Carsten Brockmeyer (Marzling, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a method for producing an ustekinumab antibody in CHO cells. It further relates to the use of the produced antibody in the treatment of plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease."
The patent was filed on Feb. 7, 2025, under Application No. 19/048,808.
