US Patent Issued to Fujikura on Aug. 4 for "Cleaning tool for an optical connector" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,699,230, issued on Aug. 4, was assigned to Fujikura Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Cleaning tool for an optical connector" was invented by Yuya Sakaguchi (Chiba, Japan), Shunsuke Fujita (Chiba, Japan) and Kunihiko Fujiwara (Chiba, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cleaning tool includes: a tool body; and an extension part extending from the tool body and including a head configured to press a cleaning body against a cleaning target. The head includes a conductor part made of a conductor."
