US Patent Issued to FUJIFILM on May 12 for "Biopsy device and program" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,622,683, issued on May 12, was assigned to FUJIFILM Corp. (Tokyo).

"Biopsy device and program" was invented by Atsushi Onoda (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A controller includes a display controller that performs control to display a target image indicating a target object from which a tissue is to be collected by a biopsy needle, a first image indicating a target position of the biopsy needle, and a second image indicating an actual position of the biopsy needle in the same display diagram with a common two-dimensional coordinate system and to display the first image and the second image in different states."
