ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,676,460, issued on July 7, was assigned to Freedom Photonics LLC (Santa Barbara, Calif.).

"Spectral-based correction of laser bar smile" was invented by Paul Orville Leisher (Livermore, Calif.) and Elliot Michael Burke (Santa Barbara, Calif.).
