ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,630,685, issued on May 19, was assigned to Ford Global Technologies LLC (Dearborn, Mich.).

"MXene enhanced urethane foam" was invented by Deborah Frances Mielewski (Ann Arbor, Mich.), Alper Kiziltas (Kars, Turkey), Stuart C. Salter (White Lake, Mich.), Paul Kenneth Dellock (Northville, Mich.) and Sandeep Tamrakar (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
