ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,257, issued on June 30, was assigned to Ford Global Technologies LLC (Dearborn, Mich.).

"Method to adjust adaptive cruise control with detection of aftermarket trailer brake controller" was invented by Andrew Denis Lewandowski (Sterling Heights, Mich.), Brendan Diamond (Grosse Pointe, Mich.), Keith Weston (Canton, Mich.) and Jordan Barrett (Milford, Mich.).
