ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,683,058, issued on July 14, was assigned to Ford Global Technologies LLC (Dearborn, Mich.).

"Liquid cooled inductor" was invented by Boris Curuvija (West Bloomfield, Mich.), Baoming Ge (Okemos, Mich.), Lihua Chen (Farmington Hills, Mich.) and Serdar Hakki Yonak (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
