US Patent Issued to Fluid Equipment Development on June 23 for "Hybrid energy recovery system" (Michigan Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,661,617, issued on June 23, was assigned to Fluid Equipment Development Co. LLC (Monroe, Mich.).

"Hybrid energy recovery system" was invented by Eli Oklejas Jr. (Newport, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system is designed to recover energy from a fluid processing operation that uses membranes to remove impurities from a feed stream. Energy recovery devices, such as turbochargers, an isobaric chamber and a multistage pump are utilized to recover the energy."

The patent was filed on Feb. 6, 2023, under Application No. 18/836,193.
