US Patent Issued to First Solar on July 21 for "Metal oxynitride back contact layers for photovoltaic devices" (Ohio, Michigan Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,690,278, issued on July 21, was assigned to First Solar Inc. (Phoenix).

"Metal oxynitride back contact layers for photovoltaic devices" was invented by Changming Jin (Sylvania, Ohio) and Vijay Karthik Sankar (Dearborn, Mich.).
